This trip has really shown me how credible the Bible is. It reminded me that as a Christian I need to study the Bible more. It also showed me that I subconsciously believed evolutionism and that that is wrong. Thank you so much for your patience or us and sharing your knowledge with us. This trip was a great opportunity for me and I’m glad that I could come. I’m not sure if these tours are normally three days long, but if they are, I personally felt that the seminars were a little bit too close to each other. I also preferred the seminars that were at the hotel over the ones in the bus.
Overall, thank you so much!

– Eurie Choi (3rd year in college)

I didn’t know what I was expecting when I signed up for this tour. I knew that I was going to learn about creationism and all the other things that go along with it, but I didn’t know how much sense it would make. I shared with everyone how I struggled a lot with the beginning of time and how everything was created because I’ve always thought evolution made sense. Everything I learned through this trip has given me a stronger foundation shined light onto a lot of darkness and hazy areas, and helped me gain a better understanding of who God is. I also realized that the Word is truth and I should look to it for answers. I was so blessed by this trip and I am so thankful.

– Schulamie Ahn (3rd year in college)

Like many people that went, I didn’t actually plan to go to this retreat. But before this retreat, I had 11 years of science regarding origin of life and the physical world. My stance on the teachings was that I didn’t actually believe origin theory whether creation or evolution at least not to the amount of faith and belief that I had for other branches of academics like math and chemistry. My approach to biology topics like history of earth and evolution was memorizing for the test and expel it from my brain. And for the most part, I approached bible the same way. I read it for the sake of reading but put my 2D into things I couldn’t believe so I could understand. But this trip actually changed my view point. Things I couldn’t believe, such as human-dino coexistence, I can now accept as fact.

– Jun Lee (11th)

I want to start off by saying that I am a catholic and being on this trip was a really good experience. I learned A LOT! I learned a lot about the ark, and the Grand Canyon. I being a catholic and trying to understand a different religion can be really hard for me sometimes in whom I believe am a struggle for me. But I am willing to learn and grow from it. I’m really thankful to have had this opportunity and to meet amazing new people and to be able to see things from a different perspective.

– Maria Gomez

I learned how in detail you could go into defining how Noah’s ark was made and how it all worked out. Everything strengthened my liability in learning about creationism and information to back up the facts.

– Joy Oh (12th)

I have learned that evolution is wrong. There are not many people that believe in it and there are few that believe in the Bible.

– Lucio Rosas (11th)

I learned that what I knew about how all things are created was wrong. It was memorable time to learn more about God and how world was created.

– Tae Ahn (11th) <Lord’s Light Community Church)

I learned many things this tour. I learned to not agree with every statement expressed by the media. I also found out about such great examples of evidence about God’s creations. It was the realization about how great our God is.

– Timothy Min (10th)

I learned about and appreciated the factual credibility of the Bible. I realized that God is so much more than what I thought of Him to be – He is a designer, an architect, a scientist, an artist, etc. He’s the ultimate perfectionist and even the result of His wrath is beautiful. How much more beautiful could this world have been before He destroyed it?

– Judiy Kim <Lord’s Light Community Church>

I really like how during the sermons the speaker went into great detail. When he stated his points he went into great detail instead of dumbing it down. So yeah that’s my two sent on things.

– Jae Yi

I learned.., no, what I liked was that as he explained creation and evolution in detail using evidence and scripture was fantastic.

– John Chou <Lord’s Light Community Church>

Learned that the Bible (even the first chapter) it refutes what we learn from the world and liked the fact that I was able to have such an opportunity to see the importance of the Bible (what I put my faith in)

– Aila Kim <Lord’s Light Community Church>

One thing I learned that really stuck out to me is that, we, as people actually lived with dinosaurs, and that they are also God’s creation.

– Moses Kim <Lord’s Light Community Church>

This retreat isn’t something I looked forward to because I have bad motion sickness, so being on a bus for hours was really hard. Honestly, I slept through most of the videos, but the seminars really taught me a lot. It’s valuable knowledge that not many Christians take the time to seek. As a Christian we need to be equipped to preach the Gospel + have answers to people’s questions. I’m glad that I was taught creationism with actual, scientific proof rather than being told to go by faith of what the bible says. Thanks for the wonderful experience! J

– Emily Wu <Lord’s Light Community Church>

I definitely was not excited for this retreat because it just did not seem like it would be any different from other ones, but I am very glad that I came in the end because I learned so many things that I would not have been taught if I did not come. It was great experience.

– Esther Choi (2nd year college)  <Lord’s Light Community Church>

I was excited to learn and come to this trip. I learned how important it is to know creation and that God created the earth because that is the start and if sin was there before creation there would be no need for a savior. I learned many scientific and biblical facts that will help me grow in my faith. Thank you for loving us, being patient with us, and teaching us. J

– Joyce Bae (age 23)

-Had a wonderful time! Thank you! One thing I feel could improve is the structure and continuity of the videos and lectures on the bus. Some of the videos seemed repetitive and the lectures seemed to reiterate the videos.

– James Min <Hosanna Church>

-I had a great time in this Creation science tour. I loved the fact that I now know that this world, this Earth is really young. I really feel like my faith towards the Bible has really grown. Thank you!!

– Jonathan Torijano

At the beginning of this trip, he first day, I couldn’t really agree with what was being said due to what I’m taught in school. But this gave me a new perspective for the next day’s shows schools are hiding things and not telling us certain thing. I just want to say thank you for this opportunity and I will share so people can see reality, the creation of God.

– Raul Melchor (8th Grade)

I had an awesome time on this trip. Personally, I didn’t want to come on this trip in the beginning, but as I learned more about the scientific explanation for Creation, I learned a lot of new information. Thank you for what you do. I know it’s not easy to stand in front of people and speak God’s truth, but I respect you a lot. Don’t lose the passion you have for speaking the truth and stay strong in the faith.

– John Ra (age 22)

I had a great time on this trip! I wish that I had come to this trip earlier, prior to graduating from high school and college. I have always pondered why schools would preach subjects such as evolution to students and adopt the theory as if it was absolute truth. Also I have been concerned in the past of the implications of being taught evolution instead of creationism from a worldview perspective. Now that I have been equipped with the evidence supporting Creationism, I feel more comfortable and confident in talking about creationism to others. Furthermore, I feel that it is critical for young Christians to be armed with this knowledge and to be aware of the worldview that evolution is preaching to the world and how dangerous such worldview is. Ultimately all the truths I learned from this trip have helped reaffirm my faith, and it has taught me that God’s Word is truly special. God is amazing, and lot all glory and honor go to Him. Thank you for the amazing trip, and I would highly recommend this to everyone for a trip.

– Eddie Ra (age 24) <Hosanna Church>

This was my second time on the creation science tour and both times have been a tremendous and humbling experience. Both times really helped me and convicted me to reevaluate my submittance to the Biblical authority. It strengthened and encouraged me to in my convictions for the inerrancy of the word of God and led me to grow in my love for God as I got to see and marvel in His creative works. Thank you for this valuable trip and God bless you!

– Edward Kim (Pastor) <Lord’s Light Community Church>
