성은 장로교회 창조과학탐사 간증문(6/16-20,2014)
I loved this tour. Liked the speaker. I liked the places we went to. I learned a lot. There’s the Grand, Bryce, and Zion Canyons, Las Vegas and more. I also learned about 6,000 years old earh and blood cells of T-rex. Now I have more evidence to tell someone that God’s real! Thanks.
Sungen Daniel Son (7th)
The Grand Canyon was beautiful. I wish we could have went down. I like the packets we received which will serve as a good tool to look back on after this tour is over.
Sarah Kim (GKUMC)
This trip was beautiful and breath taking. It has opened up my eyes of how amazing our God really is. Looking back on this trip, I really have learned a lot and made many special memories and new friendships.
Soyoung Kim (GKUMC)
This trip was a great experience for me as I got to learn how all creation began. It brought me a little closer to know who God is and what he has done for us. The trip was very hip. I hope that everyone that goes or went through it would be able to realize how wonderful God is.
Nick Lee (SEPC), 12th grade
This trip was very fun for me. I learned lots of stuff. It was very beautiful seeing the canyons.
Joseph Han, 6th grade
This trip was very different from what I had first imagined but it really helped me understand the differences between evolution and creation. Of course it has a big change through my beliefs but I believe it has brought me closer to Christ.
Justine Yi, 12th grade

Young Hoon Cho (GKUMC), 5th grade
This trip really revealed a lot for me. I had previously thought that the Earth was much older than it actually was and that belief changed after hearing Dr. Kim’s lectures. I also learned new evidence against evolution and I believe this tour strengthened me as a Christian. Thanks, Dr. Kim!
John (Jeong Wan) Kim (GKUMC), 9th grade
Dr. Kim, even though you may have felt that us kids did not listen, or that you taught us proficiently, you have taught many of us much needed information. Thank you for your hard work. Dr. Kim, Everything I learned, I truly appreciated and thought was valuable. I know that this information will be vital for our adult lives when questions against Christianity arise. Once again, I thank you!
Junn(JoonHyung) Park (SEPC), 10th grade
This trip taught me that God is real, and the world is still young. Dr. Kim taught me that dinos are real!
Jacob Han (GKUMC), 8th grade
I learned that the evolution theory is not true. Visiting canyons were really interesting.
Mark Lee (SEPC), 11th grade
I feel reassured that God is the true creator of this land. I’m glad that we were given Bible verses with exact evidence of how the world was created.
Juliana Yi (GKUMC), college sophomore
Viewing the canyons truly let me realize how powerful and loving our God is. Although the landscape is a great beauty, we, as humans made in His image, are even more wonderful in the eyes of our creator.
Ha Min Hong (SEPC), college sophomore
I have been recently learning about creation science and how to teach this to young children because I help educate home school led children in CA. It was so amazing to see with my own eyes what I have been only able to see in pictures. The lectures were very helpful before and after visiting various locations. The videos and the power point presentations were very clear and to the point with many facts that I never heard of. I would like to suggest that there be more lectures with Q & A sessions than the videos in the bus. I felt that I learned more through the lectures than the videos. Even if we do not visit as many locations for the length of time given, I would have liked to have a longer lectures. Thank you so much Dr. Kim. You were so amazing. Thank you for your testimony. I will remember you and this trip for the rest of my life. You were a blessing for us.
Bo Young Lee (SEPC)
I was very satisfied with the trip. I enjoyed watching the videos in the bus except that some of them were hard to hear. It notified me of things I did not know of, introduced me to what we were going to learn, and organized what we have learned before. I especially enjoyed the lecture time. The power point was very well organized and prepared. The lectures were very interesting and helped me understand the material more clearly and learn things that I did not know before. I just wish we went through the lectures a little more slowly because it was a little too fast for me and I wish the lectures were longer. The canyons were beautiful and was a proof of what God has done and how He speaks through His creation. It was very important for me to see the canyons. I especially want to thank Dr. Kim for explaining everything to us and for answering our questions. Thanks also to everyone who prepared everything for us that we could have a wonderful week.
Ha Eun Hong (SEPC)
Being able to know why evolution is wrong helped me to grow in faith. Through the trip, I’ve learned the power of God. I don’t think I’ll be able to forget the things I’ve learned.
Luke Lee (SEPC), 12th grade
Thank you for all of the knowledge and wisdom that you shared with all of us. For someone who has always struggled with creation vs. evolution, it was truly an eye opener. I know that we all have our own individual struggles, but always look up, Dr. Kim. Remember Isaiah 43:1-4 & Romans 8:38-39. God bless you.
John Lee (SEPC)
Thank you for your time and wonderful talent. God bless you. We really enjoyed learning, touring and receiving God’s wonderful creation from you.
SeungBae Lee & Na Wang (SEPC)
Thank you for guiding us on this trip and sharing so much of your knowledge. I appreciate your dedication and passion.
Sophie Chung (GKUMC), 12th grade
I’ve always had a question about evolution vs. creation. It was a great thing to come to this tour to learn about this and have my mind to completely come to creation and not evolution. Thank you for your time and your knowledge. P.S. The videos weren’t boring to me.
Thomas Park (SEPC), 10th grade
I’ve finally come to some solid evidence about why I shouldn’t believe in evolution. I’ve wrestled with this for long, but now, I know even more clearly why God’s Word is so important to study. I was certainly skeptical about this trip, but I’m happy and grateful for the opportunity to come to this trip. Thank you.
